Dr. Sarah Lubik is the Director of Entrepreneurship for Simon Fraser University, aligning and supporting entrepreneurship from pre-university through to proof of concept incubation. She is also the co-director of Technology Entrepreneurship@SFU and a lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Beedie School of Business. Her current research interests include university entrepreneurship, technology commercialization, innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship support.
After graduating from the BBA program at the Beedie School of Business, Sarah earned an MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge (UK), focusing on the commercialization of advanced technologies from universities. While in Europe, she was a business coach and project coordinator for pan-European projects designed to create networks of incubators and support start-up companies across Europe. Sarah has a decade of experience in university entrepreneurship, including her own technology start-up, Lungfish Dive Systems.
