Amelia Huang

MA Urban Studies Candidate, SFU

Amelia

Amelia is an avid supporter of sustainable and socially inclusive neighbourhoods, public participation, systems thinking and local economic development. She is delighted to join LEDlab and Hives for Humanity to help explore and develop different models of livelihood, inclusion and partnerships at Bee Space – especially as a contribution to the neighbourhood of her childhood. She has an academic background in environmental geography and sustainable community development, with an emphasis on carbon emission abatement policies and active transportation. She is currently enrolled in the Master’s of Urban Studies program at SFU. Before her return to school, Amelia spent 5 years as a part of a family owned and operated restaurant business.
