LEDlab Webinar on Leveraging Mitacs Partnerships for Social Change via RECODE
Kiri Bird is Manager of the Local Economic Development Lab, a role she has played since 2015. Kiri was hired for an internship with what would become LEDlab by Ecotrust Canada and RADIUS SFU while completing a Master’s in Resource and Environmental Management at Simon Fraser University.
On May 17th Kiri Bird collaborated with RECODE, an initiative of the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation, and hosted a webinar that outlined the Local Economic Development Lab program model and opportunities that universities have to leverage the Mitacs Accelerate Research Grants for social change.
