Anna and Kim Shine at Oxford Global Challenge
Anna Migicovsky MBA is Special Projects Manager and COO of Knack, which puts local skills to work for impact-drive companies. Anna was a LEDlab Project Coordinator in 2015.
Kim Mackenzie has recently completed her Masters of Public Policy at Simon Fraser University and has a background in Psychology and Critical Criminology. Kim was a Research Assistant with LEDlab and Potluck Cafe Society in 2016, looking at income assistance policy and its impacts on social hiring in the DTES.
The Oxford Global Challenge is a unique competition focused on understanding social problems before trying to solve them.
On February 17, 2017, Anna Migicovsky and Kim MacKenzie won second prize in the SFU Challenge for their work on identifying gaps and opportunities in addressing employment, income generation and income assistance in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside
